So. Damn. Cute.

The stories behind Avi and Lyra are just so damn close together, like Avi had to be the big brother and protect and feed his younger brother, much like Chosovi had to do with Lyra (which nearly led them to starvation because Vi wasn't very good at hunting). 

Everytime I see that Lyra is insulting Avi, I think of her insulting Chosovi. Because they both went through the same trials after they lost their parents. 

Here are the differences between their stories though.

Avi after death of parents:
- Became a good hunter.
- Became somewhat of a mentor to his brother (taught him how to hunt and fight).
- Dealt with the death of his parents roughly, he even kept most of his emotions hidden from Dongo to keep him safe.
- These two were actually fine on their own, they didn't exactly need to join the tribe, but they did anyway. It was nice to have someone to be friends with.

Chosovi after death of parents:
- Hahahahaaa... Yeah still not very good at hunting xD
- Protected her sister, and tried to hunt for her.
- Ended up almost starving before Khal found them.
- She got emotionally detached from the emotion of love.

I dunno, but seriously though, Lyra and Chosovi had it rougher than Avi and Dongo, even though they went through the same trials. Avi can understand where Lyra is coming from, because he had to do that with Dongo before, but she is over exercising her need to protect her sister.

The only thing he would say to her now would be, " Part of being an adult is realizing that you can't always protect the people you love."
